Terms of Use

These terms cover the SEQUEN website and the founding-access waitlist. The SEQUEN app has its own terms, presented inside the app.

The waitlist

• Joining the waitlist is free and requires no payment or pledge.
• Founding access is limited to 500 seats, assigned in signup order.
• Founding members lock a founder rate on the Pro subscription. The exact rate is communicated at launch and is kept for as long as the subscription stays active.
• We may adjust launch timing. Joining the waitlist is not a purchase and does not guarantee a launch date.

The content on this site

Everything on this site is informational. SEQUEN is an observational tool: it does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and nothing on this site is medical advice. For medical concerns, see a qualified professional.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to join the SEQUEN waitlist. By joining, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, logos, brand marks, illustrations, imagery, and the SEQUEN name — is owned by 12754941 Canada Inc. ("SEQUEN") and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the site without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape, crawl, or use automated tools against the waitlist endpoint; upload or transmit malware, spam, or content you do not have the right to share; interfere with the operation of the site; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it; or use the site to break any law. We may remove waitlist entries that appear automated, fraudulent, or duplicative.

Third-party links and services

The site may link to third-party services (for example, our Substack newsletter). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. SEQUEN does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. The observational and informational content on this site is not a substitute for professional advice — SEQUEN does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SEQUEN and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. If you have a claim, the total liability of SEQUEN will not exceed CAD $50.

Termination

We may remove your waitlist entry or restrict your access to the site at any time if you breach these terms or if we need to protect the site or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable statutory right you have under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, or comparable consumer-protection legislation in your jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
